Faculty

Amanda M. Boyarsky

Amanda is the director of the modern dance program and a member of the ballet and jazz faculty at the studio since 2003. She graduated from Cedar Crest College in Allentown with a Bachelors of Arts degree in dance education and choreography and completed three years of graduate level study in dance education at Temple University in Philadelphia. Amanda was a professor in the dance department at Cedar Crest College from 2003 to 2007. She is also a licensed massage therapist and a Usui Reiki Master Practitioner. 

 

Alexis Schemel Wilkie

Alexis is the director of the hip hop dance program since 2008. She has a background in all styles of dance and has trained under Kelly Patrick since the age of 3. She has completed numerous Master classes and workshops in both PA and NY, studying from notable dancers and choreographers in the hip hop dance community including Napoleon and Tabitha D'umo, Mary Kudelka, Les Twins, etc. In addition to dance, she has a background in cheerleading, coaching, and judging, as well as music mixing and editing. She graduated from Marywood University with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biology and Secondary Education. She also has a Master of Education degree (M.Ed.) in Instructional Leadership. Additionally, she holds an ESL Program Specialist certificate. Outside of the studio, she is the 7th grade Honors Science teacher at Commonwealth Charter Academy where she is also the Science Department Chair. She enjoys sharing her love of dance and engaging students to become more confident in themselves and their goals.

Alia DiGregorio

Alia has been an assistant teacher and choreographer at the studio since 2009. In 2016, she received her Bachelors of Science degree from Marywood University in Clinical Psychology, and minored in dance. Alia has danced at the Kelly Patrick Studio since age three and attended master classes, workshops and summer intensives in New York and PA. Alia also studied at Ballet Theatre of Scranton where she performed principal roles such as: Odile in Swan Lake, Cinderella in Cinderella, Sugar Plum Fairy, Clara, Snow Queen and Dew Drop Fairy in the Nutcracker.
